Beyonce Went Country and We Liked It

Beyonce just proved there isn’t a stage she can’t dominate. If that was even in question. The Internet buzzed with excitement when it was announced that Queen Bey would perform at the Country Music Awards 50th Anniversary show. Snapchat filters were created for use prior to her taking the stage. One filter gave a video-recording vibe with the words “Bey Watch” and an icon of the singer performing in the middle. Another filter had a silver banner that read, “Beyoncé is close…”

The BeeHive watched the show in anticipation and wasn’t disappointed when Beyonce hit the stage wearing a dazzling, long-sleeve mermaid gown in lace, beads and crystals from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2016 Couture collection that left little to the imagination, and belted out “Daddy Lessons” alongside country greats the Dixie Chicks.

The Country Music Awards audience were on their feet during the entire performance as the ladies gave a high-energy performance and further solidified Beyonce’s place in music history.
