Today was a new day. I took the opportunity to attend a sporting event that I’ve never seen in person. When I think of Nascar, I think of cars racing at high speeds making 4 left hand turns and trying not to crash. I could not of been more wrong. Today I attended the Geico 400 NASCAR Race at the Chicagoland Speedway that was won by the Car #22 Driven by Brad Keselowski. It was 267 laps of non-stop action! The sound was deafening, the fans were engaging and the speed can only be described as remarkable. I was enlightened to learn how technical the sport is and all at an average speed of over 180 mph! Cheers to all the drivers and their teams and most importantly to broadening your horizons
