Famed Fashion Blogger Leandra Medine’s Clothing Line Debut

If your spring wardrobe needs a little sprucing up, Leandra Medine is your girl. The fashion blogger better known as The Man Repeller hooked up with PJK to launch her first full clothing collection, Man Repeller x PJK…Just Sayin’.

The clothes, like the name, are a mix of the edgy and whimsical style of Medine with the effortlessly chic reputation of PJK Creative Director Chelsey Santry.

According to Santry, the collaboration grew out of the perfect blind date. “We had a mutual associate who introduced us. I flew to New York to meet Leandra…we sat down, hung out and a year later we have this (clothing) line.”

Aside from the leather jacket, cotton skirts and knits, the 46-piece collection includes an array of quirky shirts that Medine reportedly said was the real reason behind the collaboration. “She said she wanted to make a T-shirt with a unicorn on it. I said let’s do this.”

The Trending Report spoke with Santry at the Nordstrom clothing launch in Chicago where she lists the unicorn tank as a ‘must have’ for this spring. Also making the ‘must have’ list is the chambray shirt with ruffle sleeves, motorcycle jacket and any printed pant or short. The collection has a price tag that ranges from $198-$398 and can be purchased in-store and online.
