Kid Ink Show in Chicago

Last week Kid Ink showed up in Chicago and performed at the Vic Theatre.  Now I’ve been to a lot of concerts and all different types of live shows in my life, but I can honestly say that the way Kid Inks audience is engaged with his music is mesmerizing.  From my vantage point on the back of the stage I get to see everyones face as if I was the one performing.  People knew the words to every single song, “I MEAN EVERY SONG!!!” It was amazing, and to see the look in there eyes when he was staring at them and they are both rapping the lyrics, it is the recipe for a super star.  I’ve personally been watching his rise to stardom for years now, and believe me there is no short road to success, but the truth is in the pudding, and the truth was in watching that audience.  At the end of his set, he signs whatever they will hand him and it is exciting to see.  I saw a number of hats handed over, Alumni hats of course.  I saw shirts, Jordans, and one dude tried to pass his girl over.  The energy was amazing.  After 35 cities in Europe, he still had the energy as if it was the first leg of his tour!  What an amazing site to see.  Stay tuned for the interview later on this week.
