Nicki Minaj is Coming for Kim Kardashian with New Mobile App Game
04 Aug, 2016
Nicki Minaj is expanding her rap dynasty and getting into the mobile app game with the debut of ‘The Empire.’
The chart-topping queen of Young Money has partnered with mobile-game heavyweight Glu Mobile who’s responsible for the lucrative Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app and games with Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
According to a trailer for ‘The Empire,’ players can rock virtual stages, create songs and lyric videos, customize their crib and host parties. “Get out there and show the world what you’re made of,” Minaj said while teasing the game last December. “U guys r gonna spazz out when u see what I put in this game,” she tweeted.
Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood app raked in $100 million since its 2014 launch, per Glu Mobile CEO Niccolo de Masi which means this could mean a hefty increase to Minaj’s empire.
