Wade’s World Weekend

Last night was a great night for Chicago thanks to the Dwyane Wade Foundation and there efforts to express the importance of education to the youth.   Dwyane Wade as been running a wonderful charity organization for the past 9 years called the Wade’s World Foundation (www.WadesWorldFoundation.org).  The slogan for his foundation is “every kid deserves a shot.”  Well last night he delivered again as he has been consistently doing over the past several years, on and off the court.  Conducting a free show downtown at the Chicago Theatre is no small deal.  He brought out some celebrity friends and judges and had a wonderful talent showcase with children with all types of musical talent. Its always amazing to me the different talents that people possess.  Especially in children!  It was fun to see the natural excitement on the face of kids.  It was also amazing to see the full band where no one was older than 10yrs old!  All in all it was a great night, for a great cause…Keep up the good work Mr. Wade, the impact that your foundation has on these kids can help shape their future.
