Trump Campaign Manager Arrested For Assaulting Female

A spokeswoman for Donald Trump said on Tuesday that campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is “absolutely innocent” after 
Florida police charged him with simple battery.
The charge, a misdemeanor, relates to an incident earlier this month in which Michelle Fields, a former reporter for Breitbart accused Lewandowski of roughly grabbing her arm and leaving a bruise.
The spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said in a statement, “He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court. He is completely confident that he will be exonerated.”
