Google Throat? Get Ready It’s Coming.
14 Nov, 2013
With the invention of Google Glass the tech company consistently shows they can successfully push the boundaries of what we are used to and make it the norm.
Google has submitted a patent application for technology “that comprises an electronic skin tattoo capable of being applied to a throat region of a body.”
According to the patent the ‘tattoo’ would be able to communicate via bluetooth-style connection with smartphones, tablets, gaming devices and wearable technology like Google Glass. It would also include a microphone and a power source.
The main objective is to give the user the power to communicate with devices without having to wear an earpiece or a headset. From the images with the patent the ‘tattoo’ would be the size of a stamp or band-aid.
You tell us, is this the next iteration of ‘everyday’ technology or pushing the envelop to far? One thing that is almost certain, its coming.
Let us know what you think.
