Sing like Beyoncé, Dance like Beyoncé, Now Sweat like Beyoncé
14 Apr, 2016
Ready to sweat like Beyoncé? Now you can. The Queen Bee’s new active wear line, Ivy Park, hits high end retailers today. Unlike her most recent self titled album that was released with no promotion, fans were given video trailers promoting the 200-item strong line leading up to today’s debut.
Mrs. Carter co-owns the line, in a 50-50 split with Topshop’s billionaire owner, Sir Philip Green – a deal that highlights her often overlooked business savviness.
The debut collection that carries an accessible price tag ranging from $30 to $200 includes leggings with three different rise options (dubbed The I, The V, and The Y, from least to most ab coverage), an array of “second skin” pieces (tanks with built-in sports bras, bodysuits, and medium-impact sports bras) plus street wear pieces like logo sweatshirts, T-shirts, and parkas.
