Coach Pitino Makes good on Tattoo Promise

Rick Pitino is a man of his word. The University of Louisville Head coach made good on a promise to his players that he would get a tattoo if they could win the 2013 NCAA  basketball National title.

He made the promise after a five-overtime loss to Notre Dame in mid-February and his team dropped to 7-4.  Louisville coach Rick Pitino boosted the Cardinals’ spirits by promising to get a tattoo if they won the national championship.

Senior guard Peyton Siva said “Our biggest motivation was to get coach a tattoo.”

No word yet on what will happen if the Cardinals win back to back titles.
