The Kool-Aid Man hits Chicago for some ‘Random Acts of Fun!’

I must admit nothing took me back to my childhood faster than walking into the Kool-Aid Man downtown. Like any normal day, my mind was racing through the tasks I needed to complete before 5pm so I could head home and relax. That’s when I saw the Kool-Aid Man standing on the corner at the cross walk, I let out an ‘Oh Yeah’ and immediately reached for my phone.

After taking several pictures with him I noticed the line of people, young and old, waiting for a chance to take a photo and blast it out on social media for all to see.

Business men, school kids, older folks, people of all types made time for the Kool-Aid Man! Turns out he is in Chicago for some ‘Random Acts of Fun’

He is visiting several family friendly locations today to celebrate the end of summer and help families enjoy the true Chicago experience before students head back to school.

When I asked he says he didn’t have just one favorite so he is visiting several locations in Chicago. Including North Ave. Beach, the Shedd Aquarium and many others. If you happen to see him breaking through walls or posing for pics around the city stop and say whats up, it will put a smile on your face!
