The Bryson Tiller Movement Comes to Chicago
07 Mar, 2016
Ever stop in amazement at how time seems to fly by? 23-year-old Bryson Tiller knows the feeling all to well. A short year ago he was making pizzas at Poppa John’s.
Last weekend he commanded over 2,000 fans at a sold out House of Blues concert in Chicago. As the Louisville, Kentucky native embarks on his first tour, the success of his debut album “Trapsoul’ continues to set the Internet on fire.
The Trending Report left Chicago and joined his tour in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where yet again, fans were hype for the entire hour-long set, taking in the infusion of trap music mixed with soul.
Tiller’s music has been in heavy rotation on Apple Music since July. Combine their reported membership of over 11 million with Spotify, SoundCloud and Beats 1 Radio, it was no surprise to see fans sway, sing and rap along to more than Tiller’s most popular hit and the track that started it all, “Don’t.”
Having been co-signed by Drake and Timberland, if you don’t already know Bryson Tiller, you soon will.
