Dead Sara Fights it out in New Video ‘Lemon Scent’

The stage is set and the crowd is ready.  The main event is the ultimate girl fight pitting Dead Sara frontwoman Emily Armstrong  against the only other female member of the band, guitarist Siouxsie Medley.

The power of each punch is highlighted with slow motion special effects that intensify the brawl. Yet this isn’t a battle of strength.  It’s a battle of talent.  Armstrong’s range is strong and grimy.  The lyrics are amplified by the force of Siouxsie’s guitar.

The band playing in the background serves as the equalizer.  The scent of the scene is paralyzing.

‘Lemon Scent’ will be featured on their critically acclaimed self-titled album along with mega hit Weatherman-a song that played a role in securing their place on the tour with Muse.

Dead Sara’s persona translates through various genres as well as from concert venues to television studios. Fans will hear both ‘Lemon Scent’ and ‘Ask The Angels’ on an upcoming episode of the CW’s The Vampire Diaries.  While the details of the episode can’t be revealed Armstrong says “the band is doing a Debbie Smith cover” offers a hint.
