Reality Star Kristin Cavallari Hosts Akira Fashion Show

Akira helped Chicago Fashion Week end with a bang…or more like a ‘Supersonic Boom’ which was the title of the retailer’s 11^th Annual Fall Fashion show.  This years’ show did not disappoint, proving once again to be a must-see event.

Grossinger City Autoplex was filled with thousands of fashionistas proudly displaying their own unique style.  Some danced while others simply bobbed their heads to the sounds of the DJ who played a range of music from Jay-Z to Taylor Swift.  The drinks were plentiful and the hors d’oeuvres were light as the crowd readied for the main event. 

When it was time, the masses funneled towards the blue-lit room where the night’s action was to take place.  White chairs lined the floors forming separate sections.  Blue lights flashed along with the cameras of several media outlets as spectators hurried to their seats. Hosts Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari and NBC Chicago’s Marcus Riley got the crowd ready for the main event-the rest is fashion history.
