Sports, Culture, and Technology…Hello M7 Tech Partners

In today’s world it seems like the media has a huge appetite for all things negative in reference to professional athletes. I think that is sad for a number of reasons. Why shine a light on the most negative things you can find, when you can just as easily bring awareness to positive topics that are uplifting?

Someone please tell me? Over here at the Trending Report, we are going in the other direction.

Let me introduce you to Melo7 Tech Partners, LLC. Founded by Carmelo Anthony and Stuart Goldfarb to invest in and develop opportunities primarily in early stage digital media, consumer internet and technology ventures.

Carmelo Anthony is 30 and learning how to read business plans, getting advice from top Silicon Valley investors and parlaying his interest in wearable devices into investment opportunities as he helps run Melo7 Tech Partners.  They have invested in about six technology startups, Cord Project, Seat Geek, Make Space, The Orange Chef, and Hullabalu to be exact.

I think that it is an awesome company investing in things that the owners believe in. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of their companies becomes a big hit and has a product that we all can’t live without.

More importantly, I think we as a people should focus on positive images. If you feel like todays professional athletes should be role models for your children, then make sure you help them form their opinions so they can aspire to be game changers when their time comes.

Not be just another face in the crowd.
