25 Apr, 2016

What a Time to Be Alive duo Drake and Future will hit the road together on their Summer Sixteen Tour. The trek, named after a single off Drake’s upcoming album Views From the 6, launches July 20th in Austin, Texas and circles North America before concluding September 17th in Vancouver.

Drake and Future previously teamed for the Would You Like a Tour? jaunt in 2013. OVO signees Roy Woods and DVSN will be among the special guests that join the rappers on the road. An American Express pre-sale for Summer Sixteen tickets begins April 26th with a general on-sale to follow April 29th. Check out Drake’s official site for full ticket information.

The tour also includes a pair of dates – July 31st and August 1st – at the Air Canada Centre in Drake’s hometown of Toronto. The Toronto dates of the Summer Sixteen tour also falls on when the seventh annual OVO Fest is scheduled for the Canadian city, with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg tapped to perform.

On Sunday, Drake unveiled the album cover for Views From the 6, featuring a wide shot of the rapper sitting atop Toronto’s CN Tower. His new LP, the follow-up to 2015’s retail mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, is out Friday, April 29th.
