Just-in Time For A Walk Off Homer
15 Oct, 2017
The Dodgers maintained home-field advantage in the National League Championship Series with a walk-off 4-1 win over the Cubs in Game 2 on Sunday at Dodger Stadium.
Justin Turner had the game-winning hit, a three-run homer off John Lackey in the ninth. Cubs shortstop Addison Russell started the scoring with a fifth-inning solo home run off Dodgers starter Rich Hill. Los Angeles answered when Turner hit a two-out RBI single in the fifth off Chicago starter Jon Lester.
Los Angeles heads to Chicago needing two wins to secure the franchise’s first NL pennant since 1988. Game 3 of the NLCS presented by Camping World will take place Tuesday night at Wrigley Field. The Cubs took two of three from the Dodgers at Wrigley Field from April 10-13.
