The 150 guests included Grammy Award winner John Legend, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Bears Pro Bowler Matt Forte, Cake Boss Buddy Valasrto, Common’s mother Dr. Mahalia Hines, Joe Perillo and several of Chicago’s elite.
The guests were privy to an intimate and moving performance of the Academy Award Winning song “Glory” by Common and John Legend.
The swanky gathering went on into the night as guest danced, noshed on chef created appetizers, took selfies and most importantly raised money for a great cause.
