Someone Hacked the NFL’s Twitter And Killed Off Goodell

The National Football League had its Twitter account hacked on Tuesday.

minutes, and thousands of retweets later, the tweet was erased.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was able to confirm that Goodell did not pass away shortly before the tweet was taken down. But, at 12:44 p.m. ET, the hacker was back with another tweet.

Each of the three tweets were erased. The league, through NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport and PR man Brian McCarthy, relayed that its account was, indeed, hacked.

According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, the league is looking into the hack.
