Would You Risk Millions For A Meaningless Bowl Game?
19 Dec, 2016
The college football bowl season will be without two of the most recognizable stars this year.
LSU’s star running back Leonard Fournette announced he will not be playing in his team’s Citrus Bowl matchup against Heisman Trophy-winner Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals on Friday, with Stanford’s star RB Christian McCaffrey joining him in early preparations for the draft on Monday.
McCaffrey announced on Monday he will not play in Stanford’s Sun Bowl matchup against North Carolina so that he can prepare for the draft immediately.
Fournette and McCaffrey are both expected to be drafted in the first round in April.
